Yes, it increases your maximum UC entitlement by £354.28/month, providing you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element for their self. This is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition, providing you sent in fit notes the whole time without any gaps.

Thank you @poppy123456 it's been a while since I've been on hope your keeping well.
.its my sons claim he doesn't have a partner I've been sending sick notes since August 2020 I think. x1 -
I'm well thank you. I hope you are too!It will be paid from either Dec 2020 or Jan 2021. Depending on the exact date he reported the health condition/sent first fit note and what date he usually receives his payment each month. If you're unsure of the dates you can go back through his journal to check.2

Welcome back to the community @Firefly123 how are you finding being a wheelchair user? Have you had your chair for long?
I've been on the community team since November last year, so we might not have met, but please do let us know if we can help with anything else1 -
Hi @Alex_Scope I'm finding it difficult as was so very independent and now have to rely on others. All my physiotherapy stopped due to covid so been about a year now but have accepted it is what it is..thank you for your reply x

I can understand why that would be difficult to come to terms with @Firefly123, and you know we're here for support if you need it. Coming to terms with disability is a very individual thing, and takes time. As someone who has been a wheelchair user for a while, I see my chair as something which enables my independence, but I can appreciate that it's different for different people
Do you find people's attitudes to your chair to be a barrier, or difficult to manage?
I'm sorry to hear that your physio has stopped, is that something you're able to speak to your GP about? Did you find it helped you to better manage your condition?1 -
I find some people are very nice while others ignore me.and speak to whomever is pushing my wheelchair..I can't manage myself due to my other health conditions and an electric one is not possible in my tiny house..yes my physio helped I was active pre covid but had to shield and only phone appointments my other health conditions got worse as well so it's how it is...
we got stuck at a platform at the railway station for over 4 hours as the lift wasn't working was cold wet and miserable some shops we simply can't enter. I now see how much more difficult things are now.
Can't just be spontaneous if my health feels not to bad need to plan more which don't help as I don't know how my health will be in advance.@Alex_Scope
Kind regards x
