Worried I've messed up my appeal

Hi,

I had some advice on here about appealing and I've now completed the application today. However, one of the things I really struggle with is not reading things properly and misunderstading things. I have been confused about how much detail to put in the section about why you disagree, and I thought that I didn't have to include anything extra from what I wrote in detail in my mandatory reconsideration. However, I misread the guidance, which says to include it but that you can just repeat the statements in the MR.

Because I misunderstood, this section for the appeal is lacking any real information. I just put that they didn't award X despite it being in the assessment, and that they were wrong in the ways I outlined in the MR. I essentially directed them to the MR for the information instead of writing it again.

I feel like an idiot. Have I completely messed up my appeal? Should I send in a letter of evidence detailing it all again? It's so exhausting writing it all out again. Or can I cancel it and complete it again?

Sorry for all the questions again.

You can send more evidence or information at anytime. You don't need to send what you've already sent to DWP because that will be included in your bundle when you receive it. You haven't messed anything up.
You can also get expert advice from an advice agency near you. If you can get representation then even better. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/

Ah that's a relief! I know they get the MR, I think you advised me of that earlier, but I just re-read the advice on Citizen's Advice and it says to detail and repeat it all in that section.

I'm going to try and get some more evidence anyway so I can put some more detail in then when I submit.

    Thanks again for your help!

Also, I've tried to get some expert advice but there aren't enough services where I am and the waiting times to get an apointment is several months.
