Hiya I’m receiving universal credit but looking to go back to work eventually I’ve been offered. 15 hour contract and was wonder would my universal all stop and I get nothing or would I get a big still as I don’t want to financially be worse off as bad as it sounds I’m deemed not fit to work I don’t have to work or look for work or provide any sick notes I also get pip I understand that doesn’t have any effect if universal credit tho I was just wondering if there was an fresh hold on how much I can earn before it stops?

    You will have the work allowance which means a certain amount of earnings are ignored before the 55% deductions apply. If you claim help with the rent it will be £344, if you don’t it will be £573/month.
    If you start working then you must report a change of circumstances and tell them you’re working.
    Do be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you have limited capability for work then it could go against you when you’re next reassessed.
    Use a benefits calculator to check how much you’ll be entitled to if you work.

    Hiya I’ve worked out I’ll be earnering 570 a month if I work I live with parents so dunno if that impacts my claim would I still be entitled to any benefits?

    With earnings of £570/month there will be no deductions in your UC because your work allowance is £573. Therefore you will still receive all your benefits on top of your earnings.
