Hi @kent and welcome to the forum, lots here have your condition. Are you on any benefits at all at moment? Like universal credit. We have some lovely ladies on here who will jump on your post shortly to advise you what benefits you can claim like pip.1

A warm welcome to the community from me too @kent Thank you for joining us.
Which benefit were you advised to apply for?
To see what benefits you may be eligible to claim, you can use an independent online benefits calculator (Turn2Us).
Getting a new diagnosis can bring up some mixed emotions. How are you feeling about it?1 -
For PIP you need to be between 16 and state pension age. If over state pension age then it’s AA.
None of them are awarded based on a diagnosis. See links for details.
