Hi.
Can someone please help.
I started claiming universal credit on the 5th July 2022
I provided an indefinite fit note provided by my doctor in this date (05.07.22) as I'm severely disabled and recieve the highest amount of pip for both care and mobility.
I completed the uc50 form, I didn't have to have a face to face assessment and was awarded the limited capability work and work related activity component on the 22nd August.
I have just checked my statement on the 5th October and for the 3rd consecutive month I am still only receiving the standard amount. Payment dates are the 11th of each month.
Is this correct or should I have recieved my extra entitlement this month?

There's a full 3 month assessment period (AP) waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition.Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be July/August, August/Sept, Sept/Oct, LCWRA starts from AP Oct 6th to Nov 5th and first payment will be 11th Nov. This is because UC is paid 1 month in arrears. This is assuming, you're not claiming UC with a partner that already claims the LCWRA element on your claim.1

Thank you.
You've been 100% more helpful than any of my dealings with UC over the past 3 months.1 -
Welcome to the community @bdp
I'm glad that poppy123456 has been able to clear that up for you! It can all be a bit confusing, can't it?
How are you doing today?0
