Hello!
So basically I’ve moved in with my mate, I have uc, lcwra and get pip daily living, he gets uc, lcwra. My council tax was exempt as I’m also a care leaver. My rent is paid straight to my landlord which is my council. I checked my rent account and the informations they’ve put is my friend as partner.
Some point early or mid last year we did attempt a relationship and I did contact them for information on support for if he did move in as my partner. But several reasons caused us to remain friends mostly that we give good support to eachother for our mental and physical health.. I’m not sure if I should contact them to tell them or if I should simply wait as surely someone will see the information if they’re unsure what bills need to be put through. My anxiety started to get worse as I don’t want confusion when it comes to my home.
Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks

If you are friends and not partners you need to correct anything that suggests you are partners because if you are partners your benefits would all have to recalculated as a couple. You also need to check if you are allowed to have a friend rather than a partner living with you.0
