Hey all!
I have my first f2f PIP assessment next Wednesday and it’s safe to say I’m anxious as hell! My last assessment was a telephone call in 2019 which got declined! (I stupidly didn’t appeal).
Any advice on what to expect and the do’s and donuts would be appreciated 🥹
many thanks x

It's quite normal to feel nervous about the assessment @Floydiee1995, so you're not alone in feeling that way!
Did you keep a copy of your forms?
Make sure that you know where you need to go, and for what time. When I'm anxious about going somewhere new, I find it helpful to plan how I'm going to get there, and what time I need to set off, and have a back up plan if I can.
It might also be worth refreshing yourself on the PIP descriptors (pipinfo.net) beforehand, to remind you the kinds of things they consider.1 -
Thanks @Tori_Scope I have luckily kept a copy so going to re-jog the memory as was a few months ago I sent in the form.Yes nervous as hell as don’t want to get anything wrong if you know what I mean.I have planned it all, my cousin is taking me thank goodness as the centre is 25 miles away from me!! So at least I don’t have to worry about that.I did have a letter from my consultant s just had surgery which was a cc to my doctor saying my scar was healing well but I have lots of arthritis still and will need to have an ankle fusion.. didn’t know if it was worth me taking that with me?0
