anyway im hoping someone in the forum will be able to help answer my query,
When i called DWP up for the pip form 1
I forgot to mention to the advisor for extra support i might need during the claim process because I have a mental health condition (depression and anxiety)
when i was asked if I require further support I told them I would be fine to fill in the form,
now I feel like I should’ve of said yes,
regarding further support can I request this later on, for example mention it in my form?

Also what support do the dwp provide, would I be fine without it ?

The PIP1 form simply collects the basic information that is normally gathered over the initial telephone call.
Are you actually referring to the PIP2 form that asks you about your health affects you?
Unfortunately DWP will not support you with filling out the PIP2 form. If you cannot manage it alone try Citizens Advice again or see if there are any other advice agencies where you live. https://advicelocal.uk
There is guidance on completing the form here

@calcotti pip 1 form when they were gathering information over the phone I was asked “if you have any conditions relating to your mental health, a learning difficulty or behavioural condition so that you can get any additional help or support with your claim.
that’s what I’m referring to what support and additional help are they offering ?Also,
is the pip 2 form slightly different to those that suffer from mental health or is it the same form despite what health conditions you have ?0 -
The only other additional support/help would be to relax the rules for returning the forms, which can apply if there's a mental health marker on your file. I'm not aware of DWP offering any support to fill out the actual forms.haffyali said:is the pip 2 form slightly different to those that suffer from mental health or is it the same form despite what health conditions you have ?
It's the same form, regardless of what conditions you have. Have you had a look at the PIP descriptors? If not, you can see them here.
