Hi all, I'm new here and not sure if I'm posting in the right place I've just received a text this morning saying I've been awarded pip by the points on my report I think I will just be getting standard rate mobility but I've tried ringing the helpline and pressing option 6 from advice I've seen on here to get the automated message of what my next payment will be and when so I've got a clue but the security questions are when was last pip payment and what rate am I getting obviously I can't answer those questions yet so it's trying to connect me to an operator my question is how do people in my situation get the automated message?

Stay silent, you will be passed through to an advisor. Alternatively the best thing to do is wait, the automated system isn’t reliable and will not say any backdated arrears due as they are paid separately.
When you receive your decision letter you can have a read through and see if you want to do a Mandatory Reconsideration. Royal Mail are striking tomorrow so the letter will take a day or two longer to get to you but your backdated money should be paid either late this week/early next week.1 -
Thank you bg844, I'll stick it out then and wait for the decision letter it's been a long process so I suppose a couple more weeks won't make much difference0
