I been on sick since December 2021 I now had. Work assessment in September 2022 say I was award. Lcwra do I get extra money and when do I get it I get paid 19 of every month by uc

It will depend what date exactly you reported your health condition, provided you sent a fit note within 7 days of that and continued to send them without any gaps until a decision was made on your work capability assessment.

I put my sick paper in 28th Feb 2022 so I was awarded lcwra on 8th October 20220

Providing there were no gaps in your fit notes your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from assessment period June 13th to July 12th and first payment will be 19th July.Any money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly amount. First they need to recalculate your past statements to work out how much you should have been paid against what you have already been paid. You will then receive the difference between the two. It often takes a few weeks to do this. Once it’s done you’ll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much then owe you. It will then be paid into your bank.1
