I'm new to all this, I'm currently disabled without diagnosis. Dealing with many departments and many hospitals which is very daunting. Been finding it hard to sort out pip and blue badge stuff as it seems hard to explain my disability without diagnosis as it seems a grey area when applying for things. Hoping to make new friends and some advice.

Hi @rfour1985 welcome to the forum, good luck in all your hospital visits1

Hi @rfour1985 - you can apply for PIP without any diagnosis, it's rather how your disability affects certain activities of daily living &/mobility. You can see what's looked at with PIP here: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/asset-library/personal-independence-payment-descriptors-and-scores-april-2022.pdf Please ask any questions you may have about PIP.

Thank you all for the kind welcome, it's all new to me as I've just deteriorated in 6 months and I was running around before then. I'm always around if anyone wants a chat and thank you for your offer of help.1

Just adding my hello and welcome @rfour1985 Thanks for taking the time to reach out, it can be hard to start somewhere new, so well done.
It sounds like things have changed reasonably quickly for you, which I'm sure will take some adjusting to. Can I ask what support you're getting at the moment for managing things day to day, if it's something you're struggling with?
If we can help with anything, or you need a hand navigating the forum, please do ask!
