I definitely think there is some room for appeal there. Under medication the decision maker just repeated she can eat and drink. So either she has a drink problem, or just plain not taking her medication.
I also believe she has difficulty processing complex information provided verbally, enough people informed her financial planning would not work, in a straight forward plain English way, and she totally failed to understand what was being said.
Mixing with others, she seems to make a pariah of herself where ever she goes, suggesting she does have issues mixing with others.
Under mobility, she definitely qualifies the first section, as she seems totally incapable of planning a route out of her house, and is getting support from those who know her to do this.
Second part, while her mobility is generally good, she does need to be guided when turning around, or to put it another way do a U turn. She also seems to have a problem of getting out of the way of slow train crash making her very vulnerable.
Thank you for a good laugh @flour

Its a mock PIP decision letter. Its there as a pdf on my first post. But I'll copy it here to read in case its not showing up. She's awarded standard rate daily living with 8 points in dressing and undressing and making budgeting decisions, as she struggles with this (in last paragraph of the decision)!Personal Independence Payment 22

This means I can’t award you PIP for help with your mobility needs.My decision
I made my decision using information about your health condition or disability including details of any treatment, medication, test results and symptoms. This information is the best have available and enough to decide how much help you need. As your needs vary, my decision is based on the help you need most days. You said you can manage preparing food, taking nutrition, managing therapy or monitoring a heath condition, washing and bathing, managing toilet needs or incontinence, dressing and undressing, communicating verbally, reading and understanding signs, symbols and words, engaging with other people face to face, making budgeting decisions, planning and following journeys and moving around. However, I disagree and I have looked at other information including information supplied by people close to you and those who know you best.
I agree you have no difficulties with preparing food, taking nutrition, managing therapy or monitoring a heath condition, washing and bathing, managing toilet needs or incontinence, communicating verbally, reading and understanding signs, symbols and words, engaging with other people face to face, planning and following journeys and moving around. There are no reported physical restrictions. Informal observations showed that you have good use of your upper and lower limbs. You engage well, maintaining good rapport and eye contact, without evidence of withdrawal, agitation or anxiety and without requiring prompting. Throughout you had no difficulty expressing or understanding verbal communication. There is no specialist input. You were observed to walk freely and unaided at a reasonable pace and were reported to walk regularly around central London. A musculoskeletal exam was not carried out.
You said you have no difficulties and based on all the available information I have decided that you do have difficulties with dressing and undressing and making budgeting decisions. I’ve decided you cannot make complex budgeting decisions or budgeting decisions at all and you need assistance to make any budgeting decision. However, this is help which you need and do not get. You said you had no difficulty with this. However based on the information from those who are close to you and know you best, information available in the relevant history and notes, I have decided you do have difficulty with this. You were reported to have difficulty understanding the value of money including small sums of money such as the value of a pound. You also demonstrated severe difficulty in understand how and when to appropriately spend money and manage your budget. In addition, you have difficulty with dressing and undressing. You cannot select appropriate clothing and need assistance from another person to do this activity. You said you can manage this. However, as reported and from the informal observations you have difficulty in choosing appropriate clothing. You were observed to be wearing inappropriate clothing, chosen by you in connection with former prime ministers for all types of activities and functions and you need help to manage this. This is help which you need and do not get. This was reported to be the case on the majority of days. Based on informal observations as well as those reported, whilst you demonstrated good memory and concentration, you did not demonstrate good cognition, intellect and insight. I cannot consider any help you need not covered by the actives for daily living and mobility, including use of taxis or public transport.
Yours sincerely
Decision Maker

@Geoark
Haha! I think theres grounds for a mandatory reconsideration?
I'm wondering if really it should be Enhanced Daily Living and Standard Mobility. Mobility could be difficult asThere is no specialist input. You were observed to walk freely and unaided at a reasonable pace and were reported to walk regularly around central LondonWhich descriptor were you thinking of!? Having the whole country turn on you must be distressing...
