There's a lot of disabled people that have already received the first payment of £326 in July, if they were claiming certain means tested benefits. Same for those claiming carers allowance. Those that claim a disability benefit such as PIP/DLA or AA also received the extra £150. For this reason, i won't be signing the petition.

Are you suggesting that all who receive either DLA or PIP but not a means tested benefit should get £650?
If so how many wealthy people would fit in that category

I won`t be signing the petition because I disagree with this line:
"We have larger utilities bills and food costs when compared to non-disabled people".
This is a load of codswallop; there are many low paid, multi-member, families out there who have large utility bills and food costs.

This might be a bit of an overgeneralisation, but so is yours, @c@Cartini.

Mine is a generalisation I agree, but how is it an over generalisation?  It`s a fact that there are incredibly poor families out there who are able-bodied and have many members (sons / daughters) necessitating the need for higher utility usage in hand with a larger food bills.

Spot on there! My daughter is currently still on maternity leave, claiming SMP and usually works full time, along with her partner. Their monthly income is currently £1,200 less than it was this time last year. They don't qualify for UC because income is just above the cut off. They still have 2 children to feed and clothe, a mortgage to pay and all other bills that come with it.
