don't go to a and E. i spent 14 hours there once and it wans't good. they gave me the medicine i'd told them didn't work… it's so slow and i met the nurse from hell who, if i was a dog would have kicked me!
the only plus point i got a last minute MRI scan which diagnosed 3 slipped discs and trapped sciatic nerve.

i think i have the worst docs surgery in the world - they have messed me around so much. the latest one was this ex retired female doc rang me as they wanted to speak to me. She hadn't got a clue. Didn't know what PIP was. she didn't know where the blood tests were taken. LAST STRAW - HOW'S YOUR SON…. what son?
Turns out that she was given the wrong notes.
Give them their dues. they are trying to improve. And there are a few good docs there.
but they did leave me in charge of pregabalin over easter when the doc didn't call and I needed a new prescription. was in manic pain. luckily i found some extra 25mgs. i ddin't know you could self diagnose this strong drug…..

hello first day here. have you tried pregabalin. ask the doc it's the best nerve blocker for sciatica. trust me i've had them all. you can also take tramadol at the same time (the ones that dissolve in water work best for me. the pills didn't work at all)
you can also take paracetamol and voltarol. ( i had about 3 months of ibubofren but they said it is bad for the stomach and to just use voltarol.
Hope this helps. my back went in november after doing yoga. they've only just got the medication right. (mine is 3 x 100 mg of pregabalin) and i've got off all the rest. Week 3 of no pain!
