    You don’t need to tell CA that you’re claiming UC. UC will know that you are claiming CA once you’ve been awarded and it will be deducted in full from your UC entitlement.
    Have you reported being a carer when you claimed? If so then your UC will include the carers element. 
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    You need to tell UC. Post a message in your journal saying that you are waiting for a decision on a CA claim that you made on xx/xx/xxxx. Presumably you did declare yourself as a carer as part of your claim.

    When you do get a decision on the CA, let UC know.
