Hi , is there anyone that can help, i have received a PIP review form today ( 22 /10/22) saying if i don't return it by 15 Nov (2022) they will stop my claim but i was only assessed on January 21 2021! i have the letter from PIP that was dated 21 January 2021 that says my claim runs from 20 January 2021 to 15 June 2023! This is incredibly stressful, what are they doing and why are they doing this? i am really tired of these people, i went to a tribunal previously, but this last assessment the last one which was awarded in Jan 2021 was done over the phone but with my therapist and thankfully i was not put through the whole massively stressful ordeal of tribunals again etc. Kind regards Jake

They can reassess you at anytime, despite the end date of your award. They are also huge backlogs of those waiting for review assessments and some have waited more than 1 year and still waiting. If you don't have enugh time to fill the form in you can ring PIP to request an extra 2 weeks.2

Thanks. The questions are designed to confuse and cause stress imo.

Don’t be fooled by the shortened form. There’s some information here https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/pip-changes-and-reviews/help-with-your-pip-review-form/1

Welcome to the community @jakef
I'm sorry to hear that you're being put through this stress again. Fingers crossed it'll go smoothly this time. Do you have some real world examples prepared to use as evidence?
Are you still able to access support from your therapist?1 -
hi Tori. Thank you. Nice to meet you. Yes i have some real world experience that was written up by a MH nurse and recently they diagnosed me with C-PTSD , Autism and ADHD. I have a mountain of letters and documents, they said not to send them anything they did not already have. So i sent them the recent diagnoses. About the therapy, i was given a MHTO recently which includes EMDR - i am hopeful. Since the autism diagnosis i was told i could access some support with equine therapy through their organisation. It's a lot to take in and these assessments are really upsetting when you are trying to navigate an already confusing existence that my brain has learnt to fear from an early age.
