I received this text from PIP 2 weeks ago
Hello from Independent Assessment Services. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://mypipassessment.co.uk. You do not need to contact us.
Can anyone give me an idea how long I will be waiting before I hear anything else. Thanks 🙂

It's been over 3 months since they received my form. I currently receive some PIP but this is due to my condition getting worse.0

Hi there
Impossible to say how long as diffetent areas have different wait times
Some people wait couple months others longer than 6 months1 -
Yes, it's quite difficult to say how long it'll be unfortunately @dawny69. It can take a little while.
I'm sorry to hear that your conditions have worsened. Are you receiving any support to help you manage that?1 -
Tori_Scope
Hi yes I have support from a local care team.0 -
You could be in for quite a wait so my advice is try to focus on something else, though i know that's difficult.

Hi THAAWT
I had my assessment via telephone on the 24th November. I didn't receive any notice just received the phone call.
25th November received a text saying the report had gone back to DWP and now I am waiting to hear a decision.
Good luck with your claim 🙂0 -
