Hello all, so I thought I’d give everyone an insight into my experience claiming PIP
I applied in February had an assessment end of September and then 24th October got a text saying I’d been awarded but was unsure so I rang them and they confirmed it with a big backpay.

My question to you all is how long does It take for the backpay to land in the bank please

@boylealex1997 I believe I have seen a few people say 3-5 days from when they award you! Don’t quote me on it but hopefully someone will clarify 😊
seemed a very long process for you. I applied July this year and had my assessment last Wednesday. Think it all depends on your area! Hopefully I will hear soon0 -
Money is paid into your bank 3-5 working days after payment is sent. PIP will be able to tell you when to expect the money into your bank.

Welcome to the community @boylealex1997
Congratulations on your successful PIP claim! I can see that the others have already given you some information about when you might be able to expect the payment. I hope it doesn't take too long.
How are you feeling now that you know your claim has been successful?

Any money owed is usually in your bank between 3-5 working days after payment was made.
