It sounds really positive that you managed to go for legal advice last week @robertt.

How are you currently feeling about the legal advice and everything that you are experiencing at the moment?

It seems like a really difficult time for you at the moment. Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to help, even if that is just listening to you  :)

@poppy123456 hello. Do you think that the fact am on LCWRA and pip would weight against me some way? Do HMRC have preference ie working people vs not working?

@poppy123456 I don't know if you have any idea, but what happens if I get child benefit and other benefits towards my son , meanwhile when my counterclaim is not procesed d,my sons mother gets 2 bedroom flat. Because she went for viewing last week and child benefit is still under her name. So if I get this benefits and ask council to move me next year, will they house me and tell her to downgrade it or they will tell me to get lost because she got it first?

It's not about "who got it first." Your sons mother is not entitled to claim for a bedroom for your son, if she claims for help with the rent because he doesn't live with her. She can move into a 2 bedroom house if she wants but if it's social housing then she'll need to pay bedroom tax. If she's claiming extra for your son when he's living with you then it's benefit fraud.

@poppy123456 ok so she is winning. Don't u wish someone gave you brand new flat in central London for peanuts. All u have to pay is bedroom tax ?

@poppy123456 hello. So I found out that my sons mother moved a week ago. On child benefit form i put her old address as I didn't know about move. Does it mean that HMRC will take forever now? Should I call them maybe?
