Hi, I suffer with PTSD due to being physically attacked frequent times over the past 2 years which has effected my daily life I lost my job after having 18 long term absences in 2 years due to me being too scared to travel to work just incase I was attacked again, I cant even leave my house anymore due to me being too paranoid ( can't even go shopping with family or do normal things) it has taken control of my life I can't even cook for myself anymore or eat properly due to always thinking about the previous attacks or future scenarios, can't socialize or engage in conversations with my own family 100% I'm always quiet thinking about everything that has happened, I'm on sertraline I have been for a few months now , I've also just filled my wca questionnaire in i'm just wondering if anyone else has had these experiences and what were the results of their wca as I'm panicking about being declined and having to start searching for work again as I'm not in the right frame of mind to even think about work right now I need time to fix my mind before throwing myself in the deep end, ive been a worker for over 5 years but the past 2 years after the attacks my life has been a living nightmare

The WCA outcome depends on how you are affected, not on what your health condition is.
Details on how LCW or LCWRA are determined are detailed here

Welcome to the community @Unknown1892
I've sent you an email from community@scope.org.uk, so please do keep an eye out for that.
Many people with mental health conditions such as PTSD successfully claim LCWRA, so fingers crossed it'll work out smoothly for you. Do you feel you understand on what basis it's awarded on?0 -
Hi yes I do understand how it's awarded and I can say the physical part of the questionnaire doesn't really refer to me but only the mental side which I think I might score high on as alot of the top score questions do relate to me alot0

For LCWRA It’s not about scoring points. You need to meet at least one of the descriptors. Point scoring is for LCW.0
