It’s not as simple as ‘getting your own house’. You should speak to your local authorities housing support team tomorrow who can direct you to the most appropriate housing lists based on your needs, you can also try and search for private landlords but please be aware that very few accept UC. You’ll be entitled to the 1 bedroom rate:

Hi @danixxx. Thanks for reaching out to us. I can see @bg844 has already responded to you, with some practical support.

I am just wondering, would you like to expand on how you are feeling about everything at the moment?

Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything to help. We are all here for you and listening to you  :)

I agree with bg844 here and it won't be easy. If you're a single person without dependant children then it won't be easy being housed by social housing. You can certainly put your name down on the list but most areas across the whole country have waiting lists that are several years long.
You can do a google search for your local area to see if there's any landlords privately that will accept DSS tenants, however this isn't easy either. The very few that will accept a DSS tenant will either ask for a guarantor or rent up front as much as 6 months.

Do you mind sharing how old you are and whether you have always lived with your parents?

If you are quite young would it be possible for you to house share with some other young people?

UC can include help with the rent but you will need proof of eligibility to pay rent such as lodgers agreement or tenancy agreement.
Is the person your partner or just a friend?
Do they claim any benefits? If so which ones exactly?

If you have proof of rent liability your UC will include help to help with the rent. If you are renting privately the maximum amount you can get is the one bedroom Local Housing Allowance which you can find here
