Post-office closure

I live in a medium sized town with around 45,000 population
There used to be 5 post offices in my town - 3 have closed in the last decade or so
There are now 2 with the main one being inside WHSmiths
The other is (or was) at the end of my road but that is due to close next month
I am unable to access the Smiths PO due to the council stopping ALL cars from driving through the town centre (previously they allowed bluebadge holders access)
I really dont know what is on the council agenda
