Hi all, still finding my way round the site but just wanted to share my good news my boyfriend proposed to me on Friday so now he is my fiance, i feel blessed to have found someone who looks beyond my disabilities and health issues, there is hope for all i am 61 never thought i would meet anyone else x

A beautiful ring really happy for you
I'm in similar situation after my marriage ended when I was 49 I never thought I would find or even want love again
But I have an amazing bf and we have been together 3 years now on and off but over a year now no breaks . He works away so only spend weekends together buf that's how I like it for now
So we ars both examples that it does happen and not everyone looks at the disability as a barrier2 -
@janer1967 totally agree, I was widowed 6 years ago, and never thought I could find someone to take me on, we are very lucky ladies I wish you a beautiful bright future together xx0
