knowing what my wife went through when she applied for PIP i decided against it when i became ill back last year. I am now 66 and was advised to claim for AA attendance allowance so i applied back in August was told they had received it in September and i am still waiting as i was informed it can take up to 8 weeks but online it says it can take 2 weeks or 25 days. 3months on and i am still waiting...any idea how long i should wait before queering again?

Backlogs do seem to have increased for AA decisions. Usually a decision is made without an assessment. Once the decision is made you will be contacted. In the meantime there's nothing more you can do but wait.
