I would like to ask if i can apply for enhanced PIP ,despite it deadlines in 2024,as i have Bipolar Disorder, asthma, high blood pressure.
Because an operator told me if i will apply for review now,my benefits could be increased, decreased,or cancelled at all.
Kind regards.

    Hello @EKATERINA,

I unfortunately don't know about deadlines, but any application which could result in a change of circumstances will generally mean a review of your current benefits. I've attached a link to the governments PIP webpage just in case you haven't come across it yet. But hopefully someone here in the community may have gone through the same experience and comment :)

Welcome to the community from me too @EKATERINA :)

Just so I'm clear: do you have an existing PIP claim? Are you looking to submit a change of circumstances?

Make sure you would meet the descriptors required in order to even get Enhanced PIP. Even if you have gotten worst it's not a guarantee of an Enhanced award. Check the descriptors that apply to you and only apply if you believe you would get extra. You would have to undergo another full assessment which means it's possible your award could be lowered

PIP is not awarded based on a diagnosis. It is assessed on your ability to reliably carry out prescribed activities.

If you already have an award of PIP any change or circumstances you report is likely to result in you being sent a new health form followed by an assessment resulting in a new decision on your whole claim. Before reporting a change you need to be clear whether any increase in your difficulties since you were last assessed is likely to result in a higher score point and if so whether these points are sufficient to increase your PIP award.
