need help with pip award

hi my husband has got lowest rate for mobility on pip since last april . his condition has changed dramatically can you please advise me if need to make fresh claim been on phone to pip past 1 and half hours still no answer

Your husband can't start a new claim because he's already claiming PIP. He can report a change of circumstances for a worsening of condition but if he does this he will be sent more forms to fill in and return with all his evidence.He will then most likely need another assessment, which could be face to face, video or phone call. A worsening of condition doesn't automatically mean you're entitled to more points for a higher award.Also if he's over state pension age he won't be entitled to Enhanced mobility.0

hes 64 had 3 heart attacks got severe c.o.p.d angina,asthma, 3 stents fitted . got to see neurologist cause constantly shaking . and all he gets is 23.70p a week for mobility0

The rates for 2021/22 were £23.70/week for standard mobility so maybe they are looking at an older award letter.
