Watching sons of anarchy on Disney and ordering some Chinese. Boring but it does the job 😂
How will you be spending friday evening? @1981VJ -
Sounds good! Just going to watch a horror film...not sure which one yet...and ordering a pizza!
-
Great combo pizza and horror movie 👍
-
Ooohh yes love horror!

Just a night in watching TV
-
Chilling out infront of the box
-
Feet up on the sofa, a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a documentary on the box for me.
-
All sounding great! And cosy....

What film did you watch in the end @1981VJ?
I also had a quiet one in. I ate my tea, worked on some scratch art, and watched TV with my partner. -
I popped this into Coffee Lounge so that more people can see and continue sharing their evening plansHannah - She / Her

Felt as though I was cheating as it isn’t Friday night. Write some more and then 20 min headspace walk.Mondays whip round faster than ever.

What are you working on in terms of your writing at the moment @mack8888?
-
Hey there @Tori_Scope, and wishing you a pleasant morning.
Began as a memoir of my working around the globe before catastrophic injury and has manifested into a ‘pain survival handbook’ with an emphasis on self awareness and self rescue.Strange how things morph away from one’s original plans, but you just have to enjoy going with the flow occasionally.Thank you for the interest by the way. -

Good afternoon @Tori_Scope
I’m happy you think that it could be interesting, and yes, hopefully the first draft will be with the publishers in the first half of next year. I’m still searching for the right illustrator though, so if anything stalls progress it’ll be that.Do you have any experience publishing your own writing or is that something you have thought about doing? -
That sounds really exciting @mack8888 Hopefully you'll be able to find the right illustrator.
Ha, no- I'm not much of a writer! My partner has written some books though, and would like to get them published one day. -
@Tori_Scope Very, very cool. I hope they get the opportunity, and to have more than one at the ready is an advantage.
I already had enough material for a follow up and possibly more, so an exciting time.
Not being much of a ‘writer’ doesn’t mean you haven’t got a great story to tell, haha.

That sounds wonderful @mack8888. How very exciting indeed.
I completely hear that not being much of a 'writer' doesn't mean you haven't got a great story to tell. I personally think everyone has a great story to tell, at least about one thingCommunity Volunteer Adviser with professional knowledge of education, special educational needs and disabilities and EHCP's.
