End of an era

So sorry to hear the news, I know they are family. I just have my dog left now, it can be very hard. Keep looking at your lovely photos - I am sure they hold lots of good memories.

I would like to start by saying that I don't believe in ghosts - I believe that once you are dead - you are dead.

But, I would swear that yesterday evening - we were visited by the ghost of our previous black cat (who died last November) - it was 7pm and we were sitting in the living room and out of the corner of my eye - I saw a black shape move across the hall doorway - I ignored it and my wife said "Did you see that ?" she had seen something as well !

It was roughly the time of evening when he would have returned from his daily wanderings and he always used to walk straight past us - to the food bowl

Was he returning to check on his brother or just letting us know that he was OK

He used to look after his younger brother as if he was his mother - when he was a kitten - he used to carry him around in his mouth - to a safe place
