Hi everyone, I have a review coming up around March 2023, When should i expect the DWP to write to me? and will i have a asessment again? Plus im hearing all these delays that are going on, Are the delays still effecting reviews, I was awarded from November 2020 to March 2024.
Thank you in Advance

It’s usually 6 months before your award is due to run out so could potentially be October 2023. Yes they do have huge backlogs at the moment so unfortunately all you can do is wait.0

Usually it's about 6 months before your award is due to end, if you were awarded by DWP. However, because the backlogs for reviews are so long they may contact you before those 6 months. You will be sent review forms, which are shorted than the PIP2 forms. Don't be fooled by the shorter forms, you should still treat it as a new claim and write as much information as possible (without telling your life story) There's lots of threads on here related to reviews so have a look through some of them. Most people have assessments, which can be either face to face at an assessment centre, telephone or video call.As backlogs are so big at the moment, you could be waiting more than several months for a decision. We have members that are still waiting a year after returning the forms.Your existing award will continue until a decision is made on the review.0
