Hi @kimbo123
Many people find that the report doesn't reflect their reality, or perhaps even what they said during the assessment. I realise that this can be quite upsetting! Is this something you've experienced?
It seems as though you had some trouble posting at first. This is something other people have experienced, so we're looking into it currently.
I've got a few questions for you, if that's okay?- What type of device are you using? e.g. phone, laptop, desktop, tablet
- What browser are you using? e.g. Chrome, Safari, Edge
- Do you use any device plug-ins?
- Do you use any assistive tech with your device?
- Could you see that multiple posts were being made, or did it look like you were just writing and posting one post?
I've closed your duplicate posts, but haven't deleted them for now. This isn't because you've done anything wrong. It's just so that we can use them to look into this issue. I hope that makes sense!

Its happened to a relative... Thought i had posted once on my phone.. Chrome no plug ins no tech0

Thank you for giving us that information @kimbo123
I'm sorry that your relative has had this experience. Did they get the award they were hoping for in the end?0 -
Applied for reconsideration but hasn't had reply yet0

I hope it's not too long until they hear back @Kimbo123
How did they find the MR process? 0 -
They had help all through from citizens advice, i may add that from start to now every thing has been done by telephone, citizens advice and assessment0

Lol. How can an assessor say after observation in her opinion the claimant can walk 200yds when the person cannot walk at all and wasn't observed walking because it was a telephone assessment,, and that is only 1 issue....0

Oh well, thanks woodbine and cartini for your help, im off, dont need to be told **** thanks.0

The issue is that so many people think the assessment process is there for them to write what you said verbatim but it’s not. It’s for them to gather more evidence to support your claim. The report is then written which is their opinion based on everything you said during the assessment, what you wrote in the PIP2 for as well as any other additional evidence you sent.2

Reports do undoubtedly sometimes contain errors. I am inclined to think this is down to assessors not having enough time to do the job properly. As we know the reports are often sent to DWP almost as soon as the assessment is finished which clearly means that the assessor doesn’t review what they have written. However I don’t think it helps to refer to ‘lies’ when challenging decisions, I would use ‘errors’ or ‘misunderstandings’.2
