New style esa advice

I get new style esa support group rate along with UC and PIP. I’m wanting to move in with my partner who receives legacy benefits.
I know we would have to do a joint claim for UC and she’s aware she would lose her legacy benefits but what I want to know is would I lose my new style ESA or would it just carry on and be deducted from our UC as it is now?
we just want to maintain some separate income as we both have our own bills/debts from living in our own homes. But under the current cost of living increases and raise of bills it makes sense to move in together.

Thanks for the help in advance

Your ESA will continue as normal and still be deducted in full from your UC entitlement. You will need to report a change of circumstances through your journal and report you're now living with your partner. Your partner will then need to start a claim for UC theirself and you will be sent a linking code to join both claims together. If you're PIP includes the daily living then your partner can report being your carer and your UC will include the carers element (£168.81/month) You will also be entitled to the couples standard allowance, as well as the LCWRA element for you, including any other elements you maybe entitled to.The changes will take place in the assessment period in which the changes were reported. You can also use a benefits calculator by putting both your details into it to see what figures it comes out with. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/Intro/Home?cid=b1a1eabf-4ce9-4fc8-90b8-2596a4909996
