Claiming PIP yourself doesn’t mean you can’t  be a named  driver on someone else motability car.
Your friend will first need to ring motability and you will need to be with them when they do. They will need to speak to you and take details of your driving license. The car must only be used for the purpose of your friend.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

So this shouldn’t affect my pip or get my pip mobility part triggered ?

A motablity customer can have up to 3 named drivers on their vehicle, at no extra charge.
However, if you are under 25 then there are restrictions on the vehicles you can drive, for petrol, diesel or hybrid it’s up to 120bhp. For electric it’s up to 140bhp.
