By April, Food etc would have sky rocketed. Though any help is some help1

All benefit increases should be introduced from as soon as it was announced they would be brought into line with the increased interest rates.
It was a struggle enough being on benefits prior to all the increases. Treated like second class citizens and having to jump through hoops and dance a dance to receive what you're entitled too.
Payments being lowered even though you're getting worse, I never knew it was possible to become un-disabled3 -

Benefit increases have always applied from April. I can't see anything changing regarding that anytime soon.

Neither can I which I poor tbh. Then again it doesn't effect the MPs in any slight way whatsoever.
By the time April comes around so many people are going to in such unimaginable struggles or sadly no longer with us as they are having to choose between heating or eating. Which in this day and age is an absolute travesty

It is, indeed, an absolute travesty @krippled. It makes me feel really sad0

The government has taken the country further into debt so that they can provide help to those who need it.I only qualify for £150 because of PIP, but I`m not belly aching about it; I`m really grateful for that small amount.2 -

Some people expect way more than they should receive and would never be happy3 -

I've just had womb cancer and had hysterectomy, husband is self employed and had to take time off to take care of me , we get £396 a month wtc that is it, the mortgage went up from £400 to £880 and rising , when the business was working well we paid everything , but we haven't paid since last November when I started with the tests , MacMillan helped me fill in a PIP form as I also suffer extreme anxiety and panic , the business is failing fast as it was none essential during covid so we had to close , we are in a right mess financially , we have enough for food and to stay warm, and to be honest I don't care about bills , my life was in danger from cancer I have had it removed and I am grateful to be here . I pray daily for PIP to award me it and then my husband can claim carers , we have written to the mortgage provider explaining the situation and waiting for their reply . I sleep at night now I have had the cancer removed , I used to lie awake worrying , now I do not care , money is nothing compared to being a live . I am grateful .5
