Poem called building myself belief
The early morning sun was rising and was so surprising. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief and the joy the sun brought warmth to my heart and wonderful way for me to see shining through my bedroom window. This gave me the lift I needed for me to move forward and achieve my goals and dreams.
as I scream I can and I will achieve happiness and my own greatness in own way as I have began to lay down the foundation’s on journey to my success but it might be slow progress with metaphorically speaking of taking small strides towards achieving my life goals each day and I am never going to let anything or anyone stop me i break free of metaphoric chains I have placed on myself for so long. As I build my mental strength and fiscal strength and self discipline and control my mind and body to say I am going to do this and over time my life and mindset will begin to change to make small changes to my life and I hope to find that special person who I can trust and love and have moments of joy and laughter with and love me for who I am and who will be there for me in times of darkness and I will be there for her too. I just want to live my life in independently and having relie on anyone once my loved ones are no longer by my side. So I am learning how to do things for myself, while my loved ones are still alive so can become self sufficient and not have to ask for help from anyone. I will become my own person and be my own shining light and I will always keep burning bright.

Hi @Globster I remembered something today and it made me think of you. There is a poet that I like called John Cooper Clarke. He is quite a "cool" poet and quite modern but just as a warning he is sometimes a bit rude. That said I recommend looking him up if you haven't already because he is really good. :)
