Lcwra. When will I get extra payments? When will my 1st payment be?

Hi i jus received a letter in my journal regarding my lcwra and they have made a decision n so on.id like to know when will i get extra payments and when will my 1st payment be as I've been giving sick notes since April/may this year and I no longer have to do anything and decision was made other day does this mean it will be back dated after the 1st 4months of showing my sick notes.

That means your waiting period will be May/June, June/July, July/Aug… LCWRA starts from assessment period August 10th to Sept 9th and first payment would be Sept 16th.This means they owe you 3 months LCWRA element. Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly amount and can take a few weeks to pay what is owed.
The above advice is assuming you’re not claiming UC with a partner that already claims the LCWRA element in your claim.0 -

It should be included in your next statement. The money owed before paying you they need to recaluclate your past statements to work out how much they owe you. Once this is done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will then be paid into your bank.
