Letter from PIP

Just received my letter and breakdown from PIP and I'm annoyed. There were lies throughout the letter. I was asked do I have a garden I said yes, do I have grass I said yes, how do I manage it, with a lawnmower, my husband uses the lawnmower. I was told in the letter I can manage to use a lawnmower to cut the grass: I'm a part time teacher, shortened days to meet my needs. They asked how I manage. I have as assistant who Mark's work, gives our resources and  does my playground duties. That was not recorded. They wrote because I can work two days a week teaching and carry out all the roles needed I'm not needing support for my needs. They asked if I have a car I said yes manual but my husband takes me to work and picks me up as I struggle. The letter stated because I can drive a manual car I have no physical needs that need supporting. I'm so frustrated, especially when they wrote I dealt with the assessment confidently when I was crying all the way through it as I was having a flare up and I'm still having a flare up, unable to move. Now Ive been off work and my job is at risk. I feel as though what what ever I do I fail. Should I appeal? I've only been awarded  standard for living allowance. Nothing for mobility. 😖

I don't think anyone here can tell you whether you would be entitled to more points for a higher award or whether you would be entitled to points for a mobility award. We don't know anything about your conditions or how they affect you.
Remember that PIP isn't about your ability to work, people claim PIP and work. I'd advise you to get some expert advice from an agency near you, this way you can tell them all about your health conditions and how they affect you and they will be able to tell you whether it's worth moving forward with the MR and Tribunal. Start here. https://advicelocal.uk/
If you do decide to request the MR then you should put the assessment report to one side and not get too wrapped it with it because that isn't going to get you a higher PIP award.
