Hi, I currently receive enhanced mobility PIP and was awarded this in February of this year. After a while of fighting I decided that I’d just leave fighting for the daily living (although doctors and my nurse have said they don’t understand why I haven’t got it).
My condition has worsened and I now can’t leave the house due to my health and agoraphobia, I had been told to apply for the daily living part of PIP.
I have just received a backdated payment in my bank account but I’ve had no letter to say what I have been awarded. It looks as though it’s standard daily living but I could be wrong. I’ve been having my usual mobility payments with PIP so they have no reason to backdate mobility anyway.

What I’m worried about is that they may have cancelled my mobility, is that something that can happen? I use a stick around the house and need my partner to help me up and downstairs. I can’t walk around outside and I can only stand for a few minutes at a time at most. I’m worried it’s been cut off but because I haven’t received a letter yet, I can’t confirm anything.
I received a letter yesterday saying that they’d send a letter when they’ve made their decision but that was dated the 2nd of December so I think the letters are a bit backlogged. I’m due another mobility payment on the 30th and I’m not sure if I should expect that or not? I’m just a bit panicked. Thank you if anyone can help.

IF you were only awarded in Feb 2022 did you report a change of circumstances for a worsening of condition, or did you challenge that decision that was made in Feb?Either way, you'll need to ring PIP to ask them when they open this morning.

Hi, I did report a change of circumstances. I’ll give them a call and see what’s going on then, thank you.0

You should be able to claim a higher amount of PIP due to you circumstances you just have to let them know as soon an anything has changed0

No one is automatically entitled to a higher rate of PIP. Not all change of circumstances need to be reported. Although sim2022 did report a change, ideally you should get some expert advice before doing this to check enough points can be score for that a higher award.1
