Hello, I’m about to apply for DLA for my 8 year old son and I’m wondering what I could use for evidence. I was hoping I could send over forms from his school that are being sent for his referral for assessments, these state how his intelligence is far below his age range and other issues I.E emotional troubles meltdowns the constant need for 1/1 and can’t be left on his own for even 1 minute, am I able to use this as supporting evidence that he really does need an incredible amount of extra support ect, at the moment he is only in school for half days as they can’t get the staff to facilitate his 1/1 care
I’m hoping DLA is easier than pip as I had a nightmare with my pip and took years to get it sorted so fingers crossed it’s easier than that!
thank you

woodbine said:You can send any evidence that you think is relevant, although it's usually best not to send pages and pages of it as to be honest not all of it would be read, so gather all you can then sort out which you think is most relevant to support the application.
