No idea. What is lcwra? Would I be able to claim this? Do I have to reduce my hours?

Good afternoon,

I'm looking for advice on benefits I may be able to claim but have no understanding of anything... I claim pip for rheumatoid arthiritis and I'm being investigated for fibromyalgia too... I work in a private nursery and I'm struggling so bad with the pain ... ive already had to reduce my hours but on the benefits calculator it says I'm not eligible for any help... do I have to reduce my hours to a certain amount?
What is lcwra? Would I be able to claim this?
Any advice would be great
Sorry for the long waffle

Thanks

LCWRA is part of Universal Credit, which is a means tested benefit. Entitlement will be based on your circumstances. If you're living with a partner you'll need to claim as a couple and entitlement will be based on your joint circumstances. Entitlement is not based on hours worked, it's based on earnings received each month.
If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming.

Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon  :)

That sounds like a good plan @shelll :) Citizens Advice have plenty of information about Universal Credit on their website, which you might find helpful to bookmark for when you get around to thinking about it!
