Hello I've just had my PIP second claim return with zero points. I am feeling very disheartened. I was at least hoping to be able to get myself a much needed blue badge. I need to be able to park close for my hospital appointments.0

Did you challenge the first refusal? If not was there any reason why? To constantly reapply using the same evidence you previously used is likely going to see refusals.Have you ever got some expert advice to check that you can score enough of points needed for an award? You can have a disability but not qualify for PIP because if you don't meet the descriptors you won't score the points needed for an award. I'm not saying you don't qualify because i don't know anything about your health conditions and how they affect you.My advice is to speak to an advice agency near you. https://advicelocal.uk/ if you do qualify then you should challenge the decision by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration within 1 month of the date of the decision. You also don't need a PIP award to have a blue badge, you can apply without that. You'll need evidence to support your claim and likely an assessment too. Check your local Authorities website for more details.

Welcome to the community @nico How are you doing today?
Have you been able to take a look at poppy123456's comment yet? Please do let us know where you're at, and whether there's anything you're still feeling unsure about.0 -
Hello @Nico. Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you at the moment?
Thanks for already finding the courage to reach out to us. I appreciate how much courage it can take to reach out, especially when you are new and finding things difficult.
In addition to @poppy123456's response, I am wondering if there's anything that could support you at the moment with feeling disheartened?
I hope things improve for you moving forwards. In the meantime, please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else to support you.
We are all here for you and listening to you. You don't have to face this, or anything else, alone if you don't want to.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon1
