I can hear from “okayish” that you are not completely good at the moment @SE9St8. Would you like to share more with us about this?

I’ve been trying to get better. After the start of Covid I self quarantine This action has increased my anxiety and feeling very isolated. I’ve paid off my credit cards & my overdraft, so at least I’m solvent. But now I feel I’m out of touch with people. Starting a conversation with someone is strange now. I used to strike a conversation at will now it’s difficult
-
Morning @brightboy yes i can understand your anxiety, isolation caused a few problems with peoples own confidence.
It's so good that you got your finances sorted out as well.
Going back to starting a conversation for instance on this thread/chat you could start by saying to @SE9St8 what a lovely dog she has or how nice and wintery her photo looks, i'm hoping the more you join in on the forum the more confident you will get, try coming to the Coffee Lounge and start with the number games, you wont need to talk but you will get used to seeing us around. -
I’m not a quick at texting because I’m dyslexic, to be honest I hate having to write. I couldn’t spell my own name when I left school. So I have (issues) it appears to me that people who can spell ether texting or on a computer are thinking at lease twice the speed I can think. But give me spanner & point to something you need fixing I’ll have it done in a jiffy

I'm just very worried about my future right now and also just made a post about the medical gaslighting I've had. I don't know I just feel sad right now and let down by health people who i really want to help with my chronic fatigue and chronic pain but they just don't listen and are so rude -

Finances are so stressful too, so I'm glad that part id doing better
I find the same, it's so hard to talk to people now, especially if I have no energey as I'm just not in the mood and have no energy to socialise. I forget how to talk and have gone back into my lil shell again
I hope you are doing as okay as you can right now -

I get what you mean about thinking slowly. I used an overlay for many years after my teacher noticrd how behind i was, ever since 2019 I've used special coloured glasses noe and thry are a life changer!
People who judge you on your spelling are just silly people who have nothing better to do with their lives -
I don’t care about my spelling, the text bots help a lot. I just can’t remember what a letter looks like & then I find I press the wrong button and have to delete & start again. It’s really annoying. As I have just finished with a dating site, I wasn’t getting any response from other women. I just didn’t know what I am doing wrong. As I lost my wife in 2015 I feel like I’m invisible. I feel I need a pick up every day or I will stay in bed all day. I’m trying to put myself out on social media to meet new friends. This is all I can think of doing for now

Hello @brightboy It does not matter about spelling. This is a friendly and supportive forum so please join in with us. You might like to try the Coffee lounge under Categories for chats and games.
