I've been in my job one day and want to quit and don't know what to tell universal credit :(

So the things that were agreed with the hiring manager to put in place because of me having a disability seems like all talk because they weren't put into place. I ended up collapsing at a pharmacy and had to convince the pharmacist not to call an ambulance ... and I'm just exhausted and in too much  pain. Things might improve after some conversations but I tried to be assertive about what I needed today and very little shifted. I've been on universal credit on the limited capacity for work and work related ability. I need to tell them I've started work but how do I go 'Hi I started work but after day one I collapsed and regret taking it and don't think I'm well enough to do it unless I get dramatic shifts in what is being asked of me/ a phase into the part-time hours'  will universal credit understand?

If you have LCWRA you have no work requirements and you cannot be sanctioned for reducing ant work you do.

I didn't tell them I was starting work (I wasn't really looking for work - I just knew about the job because of my course that  I was doing part-time). Today was my first day, so by telling them I started part time work I thought that might trigger a reassessment even though I don't think my health has changed that much I just thought this company were super disability friendly and they agreed to a lot of things (which then haven't been put in place this week).

Therefore, as calcotti advised, you can't be sanctioned because you have no work requirements.

Hi @Martyandme999 :) I can see that poppy123456 and calcotti have given you some advice on this, which I hope has been helpful.

As you've mentioned collapsing due to pain and exhaustion, I just wanted to check in with how your health has been recently? How are you feeling at the moment?

Thank you so much for checking in - I didn't see this at the time!

I just wrote a long ol' reply but didn't save as draft and page refreshed!

Long story short: At the time, turns out I needed intravenous antibiotics (needing hospital treatment went down like a ton of bricks with that manager).

Now: I teared up reading this. My gut was so right and it is the biggest regret of my life so far not getting out of that job sooner. I loved the actual role but over a year after leaving (felt i had little choice after false allegations probably designed to make me quit) my physical health has still not recovered from the stress of being in such a 'watch your back' environment with the management. I was actually told 'we wouldn't have hired you if we knew about your disability'.

I don't know if I'll ever be well enough to try part time work again...I'm housebound most of the time now and cannot manage my hospital/health admin independently as my energy is that limited.
