I have received a text message today saying that a decision has not yet been made on my claim. Is this automated or anything to worry about does anyone know please?

It’s an automated message, completely nothing to worry about. It means what it says, you should expect a decision to be made within 2-12 weeks of your assessment.0

Ok thank you for your reply. It made me wonder as I received a text the day after my assessment saying they had the report! It’s been a stressful wait, the uncertainty drives me bonkers 🙄😏. Again thank you!0

Some reports are returned the same day as the assessment, it doesn't mean anything other than the report was returned. Once they are written there's no need to continue to hold onto them. You're not alone in finding the whole process stressful.0

This is a really helpful place it’s nice people are here to share experience’s and advise each other! I will update on the outcome of my application as and when. 🥰❤️0

Hello there @Kryptyk and welcome, thanks for reaching out, and I'm glad to see that the community could reassure you.
PIP certainly can be a stressful process, so feel free to come here if you ever need any help or advice- as you say, it's good to share experiences
We're looking forward to hearing more from you, and you can always update us in the PIP category, but do explore the forum if you'd like.0 -
Is it certain to receive a message advising the award of PIP or could I not even get this text? I got the text saying no decision as yet yesterday 21/12/22. Now I’m panicking about not getting a text confirming award in case I haven’t been awarded? I’m sorry to ask what must seem silly I am just so anxious right now0

Sorry that should be 20/12/22 on the previous message I posted I’m so sorry I got that wrong0
