Online ID - Migration Process
Hi everyone once again.
I’m currently doing my form and I’m planning to use my passport and credit references for proving my ID online. Has anyone else doing this and if so how many questions did they ask you and did you have to upload any documents after it?

It’s been a few years since I applied, but when using the credit reference system, I was asked three questions related to my credit file – two about previous addresses and one asking which of the options listed I had previously held credit with.
How have you got on with the application?

Hi,I just had to do this,and it was incredibly easy.Did not have to upload any documents,I chose driving licence and recent mobile phone contract as proof of id,and address.But then only had to put in driving licence number,and answer 2 security questions,and it said my id was confirmed.Saying that,I am migrating from ESA,so they probably knew all my info already.
Really hope this now means I will not have to go into a job centre as part of the process,which I have been stressing about.

Thanks for the reply. What does previously held credit mean? I take it is that another bank account or something to do with credit cards?

What was the 2 security questions they asked you if you can remember?

The only security question I can remember,was asking if I had ever been linked to any of a list of several address`s.

I take it the several address’s mean if you lived elsewhere?

Yes,but none of the address`s on the list were relevant to me anyway.If you cannot answer specific security questions,there are further questions that will help them confirm who you are,as you wont be the only person claiming uc who has lived in the same place always.
Are you migrating from legacy benefits,or is this a new claim?
