Insurance for personal assistants

I'm thinking about buying my own car.  I can't drive so I would rely on my husband and my personal assistants doing the driving for me.

Can anyone recommend an insurer who could cover my personal assistants driving my own car?

Thanks!

If your PA's have their own car, they maybe able to drive your car on their policy. Other wise it is just a matter of adding them as additional drivers.
try any of the comparison sites to get quotes

If it is one or more assistants that are constant they are simply named drivers on your policy.
Personally I would get your husband to register as the keeper and to insure the car - probably as a second car at a reduced rate. Then he can add named drivers to this policy.
This is one instance where I would use a broker for individual advice for at least the first year. After that when you know exactly how things work the comparison sites are there. BUT after using the sites check with the chosen insurer direct and tell the 'advisor' that you know they can drop the price. We saved 20% on our house insurance this year by using that trick (with the same insurer).
    Good luck,

There is a broker called Fish Insurance who specialise in policies for people with disabilities and they have cover for carers.

Could you get a motability vehicle as that can include cover for several carers as well as family.

Do you know if you buy your own car and it is just for your use you can get free road tax :)

This only applies if in recipt of enhanced mobility
standard mobiliy entitles you to half price tax
Both should entitle you to a Blue badge
