I'm litetally at my wits end with worry, just got this migration letter to be in by 21st June.

I have ESA support group, SDP, carers premiums & my husband is on my claim. But he gets state pension which is deducted from my claim.

Hes just been diagnosed with lung cancer & so trying to deal with that shock & my health & hes. I feel like my worlds ending & cant take anymore.

Can anyone advise me what to do? We've had 2 letters one for me & one for him. Can I do both online or over phone? I hate computers but also I'm deaf & cant put extra worry on my husband due to this cancer diagnosis. I dont know what to do..

You can apply for UC online or on the phone.

I strongly recommend applying online, it's easier to manage the claim if you have access to the online account, known as the Journal.

You'll both need to make claims and link them together.

Citizens Advice have a Help to Claim service

I'm still searching this ESA to UC migration if done online whst questions are asked, what paperwork is needed?

If I have send all my medical paperwork it would take hours.

I'm so confused. I know my husband as state pension. But I'm so worried about the start of his cancer treatment I cant mentally cope with this.

Whats needed for this migration? I'm going to have to do his online form as he cant use a computer due to a stroke, but hes mental health is very bad after being told he as incurable lung cancer thats spread.

I'm have several health issues including severe mental health issues which have got worse since my husbands diagnosis. Hes diagnosis is recent, 3 weeks ago & treatments due to start soon.

And now these migration letters gave just tipped us over the edge. I just dont know who to turn to for answers to what I need to do online.

You won't need to submit all your medical paperwork.

You will need to list your medical conditions on the form.

Citizens Advice can help support you throughout the process, link in my previous reply.

Once you start the form, you have 28 days to submit. After this time it will be deleted and you'd need to start again.

You can tackle it one section at a time, save it at intervals then return later to fill in more.

There is this dummy form so you can see temhe questions asked

❗Obviously this isn't a real application form, you cannot submit this ❗

    Ok thank you.

So the part about my husband, he is on my ESA claim housing benefit, but he recieves state pension. We both have seperate bank accounts.

How do I answer this question? We have 2 seperate migration letters. Hes 71 & gets state pension & PIP. No idea how to answer this question it says something about a code? I dont want him having any more stress & worry of this as hes dealing with the cancer. We have no idea of time as neither of us want to know. But hes stage 4 incurable inoperable lung cancer which as spread.

Sorry for all the questions, but I'm worried sick I'll get it wrong.

I dont even know where my tenancy agreement is we moved here 10 yrs ago & had 3 housing associations take over. Our rents just gone up, would that do? As getting any original paperwork would be impossible as it was Viridian then Optivo now Southern & no new tenancy agreements given. We both have passports & council tax housing benefit letters

Its 2am & I'm still searching for info on this migration as its causing my anxiety to go through the roof. I have emailed CAB but theres a wait time. My questions are:

1 Can we both use same ail address as my husband doesnt have one & cant use a computor anyway

2 Will we lose the joint SDP & joint Carers premium & payment inour Esa for my husbands age ( hes 71 & gets state pension, which is deducted from our ESA

3 Will I lose my support group status money component

4 Deadlines 21st June could it be sent in 19th june so as I get my final Esa & rent

5 how do I get my council tax paid on uc? As with ESA I get both HB/CT paid except this year we have to pay £100.88 towards CT & dont know why

If we lose all our ESA premiums & extra money going out & things going up, we wont be able to survive.

I'm so stressed about this & worried about my husbands cancer diagnosis, I should be concentrating on that his treatments etc instead these migration letters have literally taken over my mind as I think we wont be able to live & scared of being homeless
