If you google their name - you may be able to find another email address to contact them on
Reeves for example is on CEU.Enquiries@hmtreasury.gov.uk as she works for the treasury
If you try their normal email address (name.mp@parliament.uk) - they may well ignore you

Biggest issue is the main opposition, Conservatives and Reform's only complaints is that the cuts don't go further, they want to cut 12bn from welfare. Jeremy Hunt who would have been chancellor had the Conservatives won is saying they should have gone further.
It's worrying times, as there's no realistic option for a party that will gain power that will actually protect the sick and disabled. The best hope is still that Starmer gets booted out, and someone from the left wing of the party gets power, and it doesn't even have to be from the Corbyn wing, as eg. Andy Burnham has voiced against these cuts and wouldn't be seen as the left of the party. Problem is the people in power atm are from the right of the party.

About the 4 years, is it just me or are they in power for 5 years (including last year)? I thought GEs were every 4 years unless I'm just misunderstanding everything

In the proposed changes, it'd need to be a 4 in a Daily Living category.

So basically no matter what what many of us will still lose all our benefits based on the 4 points criteria even if legal battle can happen.
Ty for being honest, but based on this I might as well say I am scr**** and save taxpayer money now by ending life as I will literally lose everything. And before anyone asks NO I do not have family as they have all passed away and my few friends either work hard on low wages or disabled.

Just because they can do it does not mean as yet it's enshrined in stone. The point I wanted to make was to counter the idea that this is a done deal and once it becomes law we have no avenue through which to improve or fight back.

Where's that come from please?? There wouldn't be a GE during parliamentary recess and they can call one anytime in the last, 4th year. Not that I'm thinking that far ahead especially as I possibly won't vote in the future.

In the unlikely event that the Government collapsed and there was a GE, I think a hung parliament would be the most likely outcome. There would probably be a coalition of several parties that might include a very different Labour Party.
Far more, likely is that a sizable rebellion could deliver a change of Chancellor and fiscal policy.

A Government can be in power for five years but there's usually an election before then. The last Tory Government could have gone on another five months.

The chancellor said it was "not the right analogy" when she was asked about the chief secretary to the Treasury's comments on LBC Radio.But she added: "My children and the chief secretary's children are too young, but if you have a 16-year-old and you say, 'you know what I'm not going to give you so much pocket money. I want you to go out to work'.
"And then the [Office for Budget Responsibility] does an impact assessment and says your child is going to be worse off - well, they're going to be worse off if they don't go and get themselves a Saturday job.
"But if they do go and get themselves a Saturday job, they'll probably be better off and they probably might enjoy it as well.
"Now, that's not the right analogy, but there are lots of people who have a disability that are desperate to work."
