    There is no financial gain to claiming Carers Allowance as it is deducted in full from your UC award.

    If you are on LCWRA, then no as the same person cannot get both LCWRA & CE.

    If you get LCW then you can only get Carers Element if the financial amount of LCW is less than CE.
