Hi, my name is Ann7! How long does it take to be reassessed after a change of circumstances on PIP?

    Hi @Ann7,

It can vary a lot from case to case so it's difficult to say exactly how long it will take unfortunately. If it is your conditions that have changed, it can take a few months for it all to get sorted but your current claim will stay the same as you wait. They'll often ask you to fill out a form detailing how your health has changed and supply any new evidence you might have.

They may want to assess you again, in which case it is often a phone assessment where they'll ask you question about how your conditions are affecting your day to day life. Sometimes it will be a paper assessment which means you won't need to speak to them at all. They'll then make a decision about whether your payments need to change.

You can report a change by calling the enquiry line, the details are here:

Personal Independence Payment (PIP): Report a change to your needs or circumstances - GOV.UK

@Ann7 Agree with Rosie, a lot quicker than a normal PIP review, sure I read recently on this forum around 12 weeks.
