Hi i need some information,im a pensioner and ive been offered a little job of 5 hours a week earning £50 a week But i get housing benefit and reduction in council tax.Will this affect my benefit please. Thankyou

Council tax reduction eligibility can vary a lot between councils so it's difficult to advise on that one I'm afraid. It may be worth just having a look at the eligibility on your local council's website to see if the new income will affect it in any way.
With Housing Benefit, you can still earn and claim, but it is worth letting them know that you are starting a small amount of work just to keep it all above board.
As its's quite a small wage, I wouldn't think it would affect it too much but it is well worth checking in with housing benefit and your council to see what their rules are and make sure they're aware of what's going on.
